This is a short-term contract, under 1 year, and can be a remote working position.
Ideally artists will be based in Ireland, however, the role is open to all artists, but applicants must be able to work within a 4 hour time difference of the Irish timezone to allow for daily interaction with the Creative and production teams.

Work closely with the Art Director and CG Supervisor to establish creative and technical workflows that constantly strive to meet client and internal quality expectations for Character Modelling on the project
Sculpting and Modelling of Key Characters and Blendshapes throughout production
Oversee and manage the Character Modelling team to make sure that they meet the creative and technical requirements of the project
Oversee client and internal notes, providing direction and feedback to the Character Modelling Team as required
Work closely with the Production Team in the management of the department, creating team schedules and setting tasks for the team as well as flagging any potential issues or delays
Attend client meetings and Review Calls as necessary
Work closely with the Art Director, CG Supervisor & Pipeline TD to establish efficient techniques, topology, naming and other conventions to optimize character creation process
Collaborate and maintain transparent communication with other department supervisors and leads
Support a collaborative and creative environment that produces awesome Giant projects. Including coaching and mentorship to members of your team
5+ years of professional experience in animation.
At least 2 years of experience as Lead in the animation or VFX industry
A strong creative and technical background as a proven leader in setting direction for a production
High proficiency in Maya and Zbrush is a must
Great communication skill and ability to work interactively with production and other departments to solve production challenges
Ability to feedback to other departments and direct any technical changes
