This is a full-time position. Ideally, artists will be based in Ireland. However, the role is open to international applicants, but applicants must be able to work remotely within a +-2 hour time difference from the Irish timezone to allow for daily interaction with the creative and production teams.

Create Master Light rigs and assemble Lighting setups for Characters, Environments & Props depending on the needs and chosen style of the Show under the direction of the Art Director, CG Supervisor and Departmental Supervisor.
Light 3D scenes to capture the mood and enhance storytelling under the direction of the Art Director, CG Supervisor and Departmental Supervisor.
Create high-quality renders of Characters, Props & Environments for internal and client approval throughout the process.
Assist in the creation or editing of shaders.
Work with the Production Coordinator to assign tasks, set weekly targets/goals for the team members and ensure they follow your Supervisor’s or Art Director’s direction as well as the Client’s.
Participate in review sessions to examine published files and make sure that the team members are following the appropriate lighting direction, using the approved lighting setups and comp templates to match the established look-dev and standard of existing shots/frames, giving feedback and notes as necessary.
Administer the team in Integrating rendered CG elements and layers in Comp and use compositing and artistic techniques in order to produce final shots.
Communicate with the Production Team, Inter-departmental Lead(s), Supervisors and CG Supervisor on concerns ahead of time.
Collaborate with Lighting and Comp Supervisor and CG Supervisor as well as Modelling and Surfacing departments to troubleshoot creative and technical issues when required.
Balance quick turnarounds with achieving a high degree of aesthetic quality.
Maintain technical expertise and adjust to changing procedures and technologies.
Minimum of 2 years of being a Lead or Supervisor in TV Series Animation (CG) Production.
Excellent leadership, visual skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Shotgun/ShotGrid.
Superior eye for Light, Shade, Colour, and detail.
Good Knowledge of Maya, Nuke/Fusion.
Experience with Redshift or Arnold or Katana.
Familiarity with Python, C++, scripting for Nuke, and Maya API a plus.
Team player, Task-driven, Troubleshooter, self-motivated, and proactive.
Excellent communication skills.
