This is a full-time position based in the Dublin studio, and there is flexibility for remote working but applicants should be able to work in the Irish timezone as the studio.
Starting date: September 2023
Collaborate with Series Director, Episodic Director(s) and Production Team to complete Episodic revisions as assigned.
Follow notes to improve scenes and sequences in a clean and readable way, adding visual appeal when possible.
Ensure quality, direction and style of show is consistently achieved and strived for throughout production.
Work with Editor(s) to ensure storyboard panels are delivered in the correct format.
Attend meetings, reviews and episodic revision launches as required.
Implement internal and external client notes as required.
Meet all deadlines and milestones as set out by the Production team.
Communicate progress of work to supervisor(s) and the Production team.
Be proactive in flagging any potential issues or delays to supervisor(s) and the Production team.
Follow Storyboard workflows and file management systems according to production guidelines.
2+ years of experience in animated projects, preferably with CG TV series.
Ability to express character emotion and attitude through drawings.
Great understanding of cinematography, staging and storytelling.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, perspective, and composition.
Awareness of assets and designs.
Strong knowledge of animation limitations and takes this into consideration when doing revisions.
Willingness to rework material multiple times while keeping a fresh eye.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple tasks in a fast-paced production.
Ability to quickly and effectively illustrate in any style required and maintain consistency.
Proven and Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Great organizational and file management skills.
Manage timelines ensuring work is delivered on schedule.
Expert Adobe Photoshop skills/ storyboard Pro skills.
Experience with Flix and Shotgrid a plus.
