Do you do Internships?

Absolutely! We provide a wide range of internships across all departments. If you’re interested in taking part then please email internships@giant.ie

If there are no job postings, are you still interested in receiving applications?

Yes. Even if we’re not officially hiring, we’re always on the lookout for bright new talents. You can send a link to your showreel / portfolio to careers@giant.ie. Just remember to put the title of the position you’d like to be considered for in the subject line of the email.

Do you offer school work experience?

Unfortunately no. We can’t offer secondary school work experience at this time.

Will you read my script?

No. We do not accept or read unsolicited scripts or story ideas for film or TV productions.

Can you visit us?

Maybe! We organise lectures and presentations whenever possible so that we can stay connected with colleges, festivals and the wider industry. If you’d like us to come visit you and speak a bit about Giant then please reach out to us and we’ll get back as soon as we can.

What software do you use?

All of the software! Specifically - Maya, Photoshop, Nuke, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Redshift and good old fashioned pencil and paper.

Where are you based exactly?

We’re in Phibsborough, one of Dublin's most popular suburbs. We’re 30 mins from the airport, and 15 mins from the city centre. We’re situated on the second floor of the Phibsborough tower, the largest building in Phibsborough. You can’t miss us!

Do you do 2D animation?

No. (and yes...) We are mainly focused on 3D / CG animation, and don’t have a full 2D pipeline at the moment. However, a lot of our team have a background in traditional animation and we would love to do a 2D project one day if the right project comes along. Never say never!

What is Dublin like to live in?

Great! Dublin is a vibrant, friendly and energetic city, with a great social scene and tonnes to do.

Do you facilitate remote workflow?

Absolutely. Since the Covid 19 pandemic we’ve put in place a very smooth remote workflow so that artists can work seamlessly with our pipeline wherever they are in the world.
